Since 1993, the USDA has cited The Leibel Brothers Family Circus with neglect, cruelty, and improper conditions of their circus animals. The main issue is an elephant named Nosey, born wild in Zimbamwe, transported to USA as a baby, entred the circus life. Liebel Family Circus (aka Florida State Family Circus, Great American Family Circus, Liebling Bros. Circus, or Liebling Bros. Family Circus), operated by Hugo Tomi Liebel (aka Tommy Liebel, Hugh Blum, or Hugo Bloom), has repeatedly failed to meet minimal federal standards for the care of animals used in exhibition as established in the Animal Welfare Act (AWA).
Their license is set for renewal on Jan 30th. Lets get some people on this!!
